Job summary

InterContinental Dubai Festival City, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor. You will oversee housekeeping standards, train staff, and ensure smooth shift handovers in a luxury 4–5* setting.

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar environment is required. Excellent English, strong budget awareness, and the ability to work across departments are essential to deliver exceptional guest experiences and uphold brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the implementation of housekeeping standards and procedures.
• Recommends changes to the standards and training on an on-going basis.
• Maintains a current and thorough knowledge of all housekeeping systems.
• Opens and closes the shift and ensures effective shift hand over.
• Distributes and collects keys.
• Manages all incoming and outgoing calls.
• Conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities are known.
• Demonstrates cooperation across departments.
• Communicates well to ensure effective shift handovers.
• Participates in trainings and meetings.
• Interacts professionally to foster rapport with staff and guests.
• Maintains knowledge of hotel programs and events to address guests needs.
