Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Abu Dhabi is seeking a Hostess to join the Food & Beverage team in a luxury hotel environment. You will warmly greet guests, manage seating arrangements, and support service staff to ensure flawless guest experiences during peak hours.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a similar role within a luxury hotel, excellent communication skills, and a professional, guest-centric attitude; additional languages are a plus and a passion for delivering exemplary service is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the same role in a luxury hotel is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Additional language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• During opening, ensure table setup is according to restaurant requirements.
• Ensure all table items are clean and in good repair.
• Arrange seating plan in line with reservations and Manager requirements.
• Set up the hostess desk according to Emirates Palace standards.
• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Seat guests according to Emirates Palace standards.
• Assist with service as required by the Restaurant Manager.
• Handle all telephone bookings and inquiries per Emirates Palace standards.
• Keep Restaurant Manager and Assistant informed of guest comments and complaints.
• During the closing procedure, secure and clean tabletops as per standards.
• Be present in the restaurant during service hours.
• Maintain menus and guest collateral items clean and undamaged.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
