Job summary

Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi is seeking a Hostess to join the Food & Beverage team. The Hostess will greet and seat guests, manage reservations, and support service to ensure an exceptional dining experience.

Based at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi, the role requires presenting a polished image, maintaining venues to the highest standards, and collaborating with the Restaurant Manager and team to deliver superior guest service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the same role in a luxury hotel is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Italian and Russian language skills highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner according to Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental standards.
• Seat guests according to reservation book and restaurant manager requirements.
• Ensure table top set up meets restaurant requirements at opening.
• Maintain cleanliness and repair of table top items.
• Assist with service as required by the Restaurant Manager.
• Handle telephone bookings and inquiries per standards.
• Keep staff informed of guest comments and complaints.
• Maintain guest history records.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
