Job summary

Chalhoub Group in Dubai seeks an experienced Retail Director to lead Tanagra, our luxury home and lifestyle destination in the Middle East. You will own the retail strategy, drive annual plans, profitability, and a premium omnichannel experience across markets.

This senior role requires shaping the retail network, partnering with brand principals, building strong leadership teams, and translating market insights into measurable growth while elevating the luxury customer experience.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience within a luxury environment.
• Proven P&L ownership and sizeable retail experience.
• Experience leading multi-store and multi-market operations.
• Strong understanding of luxury client experience and customer expectations.
• Ability to translate strategies into measurable commercial results.
• Proven leadership of senior retail teams and succession planning.
• Comfort working with international brand principals and senior stakeholders.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the brand’s retail strategy, annual business plan, budgets and commercial targets.
• Lead overall retail performance across sales, profitability, margin and KPIs.
• Shape the retail network and identify opportunities for growth, openings, renovations and portfolio development.
• Partner with brand principals and stakeholders to drive regional growth.
• Lead and develop high-performing retail leadership teams and talent pipelines.
• Translate market insights into clear commercial action plans.
• Collaborate across Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, eCommerce and Supply Chain for omnichannel excellence.
• Champion operational excellence and elevate the luxury customer experience.
