Tanagra, the luxury home and lifestyle destination, seeks an experienced Retail Director to lead growth across our markets. This senior role blends strategic vision with execution to deliver an exceptional luxury customer experience.

You will own the retail strategy, drive multi-market operations, and collaborate with brand principals to shape the portfolio and omnichannel journey that defines Tanagra’s luxury standard.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience within a luxury environment.
• Strong commercial and P&L ownership, with proven experience managing sizeable retail businesses.
• Experience leading multi-store and ideally multi-market retail operations.
• Strong understanding of luxury retail, client experience and customer expectations.
• Proven ability to develop retail strategies and translate them into measurable commercial results.
• Strong people leadership with experience leading and developing senior retail teams.
• Confident working with international brand principals and senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, budgeting, forecasting and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience within luxury home, interiors, jewelry, fashion or another high-touch luxury category would be highly relevant.
• This role would suit a commercially sharp, hands-on leader who understands that luxury retail is as much about people, relationships and experience as it is about performance.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the brand's retail strategy, annual business plan, budgets and targets.
• Lead overall retail performance across sales, profitability, margins and KPIs.
• Shape the retail network and identify opportunities for growth, openings, renovations and portfolio development.
• Partner with brand principals and stakeholders to drive growth across the region.
• Lead and develop high-performing retail leadership teams with succession planning.
• Use market insights to translate into clear commercial action plans.
• Collaborate across Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, eCommerce, Supply Chain to deliver omnichannel experience.
• Champion operational excellence and elevate luxury customer experience at every touchpoint.

Your responsibilities will be to
