Job summary

Tanagra, Chalhoub Group’s luxury home and lifestyle destination, seeks a seasoned Retail Director to lead growth across the region. This senior leadership role blends strategic vision with hands-on execution to deliver an exceptional luxury customer experience.

You will own the retail strategy, optimize multi-store performance, and partner with brand principals and cross-functional teams to drive omnichannel success.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in luxury retail environments.
• P&L ownership with proven profitability responsibility.
• Experience guiding multi-store or multi-market operations.
• Strong understanding of luxury client experience and expectations.
• Ability to translate strategy into measurable results.
• Proven people leadership at senior levels.
• Comfort working with international principals and stakeholders.
• Analytical budgeting, forecasting and decision-making skills.
• Experience in luxury home, interiors, jewellery, fashion or related luxury category.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the brand’s retail strategy, annual business plan, budgets and commercial targets.
• Lead overall retail performance across sales, profitability, margin and KPIs.
• Shape the retail network and identify opportunities for growth, openings, renovations and portfolio development.
• Partner with brand principals and stakeholders to drive sustainable regional growth.
• Lead and develop retail leadership teams with strong succession planning.
• Use insights to translate into clear commercial action plans.
• Collaborate across Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, eCommerce, Supply Chain for a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Champion operational excellence and elevate the luxury customer experience.
