Job summary

Sofitel Dubai The Palm is seeking a guest services associate to warmly welcome guests, assist with luggage, and escort them to the lobby. You will coordinate taxis, manage driveway traffic, and ensure a secure, seamless arrival and departure experience on Dubai's Palm Jumeirah.

The role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, impeccable grooming, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining guest satisfaction. Evening/weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Impeccable grooming and professional appearance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy objects.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with luggage/valet.
• Escort guests to lobby and bid farewell.
• Relay directions and assist with taxi/transport.
• Monitor traffic and ensure driveways are clear.
• Maintain cleanliness and liaise with housekeeping.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve to satisfaction.
• Report issues to supervisor when needed.
