Job summary

voco Dubai Palm The Palm is seeking a Bell Attendant to provide exceptional guest service by assisting guests with luggage, escorting them to their rooms, delivering amenities, and sharing information about hotel services and local attractions.

This role contributes to a welcoming and memorable first and last impression of the hotel. Greet guests, assist with luggage handling, explain features, respond to requests, and work with Front Desk and Concierge to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a Bell Attendant or similar guest service position.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with a friendly personality.
• Physically agile and able to stand for extended periods.
• Available to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• A true team-player with a flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival and departure.
• Assist with luggage handling, loading/unloading from vehicles, and delivering to rooms.
• Escort guests to rooms, explain hotel features and amenities, and assist as needed.
• Retrieve luggage for departing guests and ensure timely delivery.
• Store and retrieve luggage and packages in the luggage room.
• Respond to guest requests such as room changes, directions, or transportation arrangements.
• Deliver items to guest rooms, including messages, packages, or amenities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, entrance, and bell desk area.
• Assist with valet duties if trained and licensed.
• Work closely with Front Desk, Concierge, and other departments to ensure seamless service.
• Report any lost or found items to the appropriate department.
