Job summary

Sofitel Dubai The Palm invites an experienced butler to join our luxury beachfront resort on Palm Jumeirah. You will anticipate guests’ needs, coordinate with departments, and deliver a five-star experience with discretion and flawless service.

You will manage guest requests, assist with events, maintain immaculate suites and public areas, and record guest preferences. Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus. A rotating schedule including weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Butler or in a similar high-end hospitality role.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guests' needs.
• Proficiency in etiquette, protocol, and luxury service standards.
• Discretion and confidentiality at all times.
• Ability to work rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and fulfill guests' needs with discretion
• Manage guest requests, including packing/unpacking, laundry services, and personal shopping
• Coordinate with departments to ensure seamless service delivery
• Maintain an organized and immaculate environment in guest suites and common areas
• Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages as required
• Assist with event planning and execution for private functions
• Handle guest correspondence and manage schedules as needed
• Ensure all service standards are met and exceeded consistently
• Maintain accurate records of guest preferences and special requirements
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive and luxurious guest experience
