Job summary

Sofitel Dubai The Palm invites applications for a Guest Service Agent to warmly welcome guests, assist with arrivals, provide directions, and ensure a smooth, luxurious experience along the Palm Jumeirah.

You will work in a fast-paced hospitality environment requiring excellent communication, impeccable grooming, and the ability to multitask while remaining calm under pressure, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Impeccable grooming and professional appearance.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests from arrival to lobby.
• Escort guests to reception and see them off.
• Provide directions and arrange taxis/transport.
• Monitor traffic flow and keep driveways clear.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality.
• Luggage handling and Lost & Found procedures.
• Collaborate with housekeeping for cleanliness.
• Support drivers and bell staff in daily tasks.
• Handle guest complaints professionally.
• Escalate issues to supervisor when needed.
