InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa in the UAE seeks a driven Sales Manager - Groups & Events to grow groups and events revenue by building strong client relationships and driving memorable hospitality experiences at a luxury resort.

You will identify opportunities with corporate clients, event planners and travel partners, manage the sales process from inquiry to contract, and work closely with Revenue, Banquets, F&B and operations to ensure flawless execution of events.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years in hotel sales, with Groups & Events experience; Sales Manager background preferred.
• Experience in luxury hotel or resort sales is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of UAE hospitality market, corporate groups, MICE, events.
• Proven ability to generate new business and manage key accounts to hit targets.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and written/spoken English skills.

• Drive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for groups, conferences, meetings and social events.
• Identify new business opportunities while building relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel partners and key accounts.
• Manage the groups & events sales process from inquiry to proposals, negotiations, contracting and bookings.
• Develop and execute sales plans to maximise revenue, conversion rates and opportunities.
• Conduct client meetings, site inspections and familiarisation trips to showcase facilities and offerings.
• Negotiate rates and contracts to maximise profitability while maintaining client relationships.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and business performance to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Revenue, Banquets, F&B and operations to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, account records, activity reports, and pipelines.
• Represent the resort at networking events, trade shows and industry functions to strengthen market presence.
