Job summary

InterContinental Fujairah Resort on Al Aqah Beach seeks an Events Executive to manage relationships with key events and identify new accounts to achieve hotel budget. You will build profiles in the local market, target feeder markets, and convert leads into revenue by planning and executing sales activities aligned with the hotel’s annual plan.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in sales or hospitality, strong English, and pro-active, organized work style with teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification in Sales, Hospitality or related field.
• Experience in sales or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong communication and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Takes inquiries for outlets, banquets or F&B revenue and converts to sales.
• Prepares offers, contracts and banquet event orders per standards.
• Hosts clients on event day and conducts follow-up calls for future bookings.
• Monitors productivity and revenue goals with sales action plans.
• Interacts with clients through show-arounds, entertainments and lunches as needed.
• Assists with promotions, budgets, and coordinated marketing efforts.
