Job summary

SUSHISAMBA Dubai seeks an experienced Assistant Reception Manager to oversee front-of-house, reservations, and guest relations across our dining concepts. You will lead the Reception, Hostess and Reservations teams to ensure exceptional service and a seamless guest journey.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in luxury restaurants, strong knowledge of reservations systems such as SevenRooms, VIP guest management, and a polished presentation aligned with premium hospitality standards.

Qualifications

2–3 years in luxury restaurants or premium lifestyle concepts.
Strong guest-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience leading reception or host/guest services teams.
VIP guest handling and seating coordination.

Responsibilities

Lead the Reception, Hostess and Reservations team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Oversee daily reservations, table allocation, waitlists and seating strategy.
Develop relationships with VIP guests and regular clientele; manage guest preferences and requests.
Collaborate with Restaurant Management to ensure smooth service flow during peak periods.
Address guest feedback and complaints with effective service recovery.
Coach and develop the reception team; maintain grooming and presentation standards.
Assist with team schedules, shift allocation, reservation reports and guest database management.
