Job summary

The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah is seeking a Front Office Agent to deliver exceptional guest experiences at our luxury property. You will welcome guests, assist with reservations and billing, and coordinate with departments to ensure seamless service throughout check-in to check-out.

Ideal candidates have luxury hospitality experience, superior communication skills, and a strong customer-service mindset, with flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hotel or upscale hospitality required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong customer service mindset with problem solving.
• Proficiency in reservations, check-in/check-out, and guest billing.
• Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments with attention to detail.
• Professional appearance and presentation per hotel standards.
• Flexible to work shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude during check-in and check-out.
• Assist guests with room reservations, registration, billing, and payment procedures.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
• Maintain complete knowledge of hotel services, room categories, facilities, promotions, and local attractions.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Concierge, Engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate issues to the Front Office Supervisor or Manager when necessary.
• Maintain accurate guest records while ensuring confidentiality and data security.
• Balance cash transactions and prepare daily reports according to hotel policies.
