Job summary

Fairmont Bab Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi is seeking an F&B Supervisor to oversee daily outlet operations, uphold guest service standards, and ensure product quality and safety.

You will support the Outlet Manager, lead a team of colleagues, coordinate with Kitchen and other departments, and contribute to cost control, inventory, and daily reporting in a luxury hotel environment.

The ideal candidate has a hospitality diploma or degree, 2–3 years in F&B, supervision experience, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of Food & Beverage experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
• Previous supervisory or team-leadership experience in F&B is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant and beverage service operations.
• Experience in high-volume operations and an international hospitality environment is an advantage.
• Excellent command of English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily F&B operations and ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and ensure proper outlet preparation.
• Deliver personalized guest service and handle guest concerns professionally.
• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop F&B colleagues.
• Allocate duties and monitor team performance, grooming, and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with Kitchen, Stewarding, Housekeeping, and other departments.
• Assist with cost control, stock management, inventory management, billing, and daily reporting.
• Minimize wastage and ensure proper handling and storage of products.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, hygiene, health, safety, and hotel procedures.
• Maintain a professional, positive, and guest-focused working environment.
• Support the management team in achieving guest satisfaction, service excellence, and operational efficiency.
