Job summary

Th8 Palm Dubai is seeking a courteous Butler to welcome guests with a warm, personalized approach and to anticipate needs before they arise. You will escort guests to their rooms, unpack luggage, arrange in-room amenities, coordinate dining and transportation, and liaise with departments to ensure a flawless stay.

This role requires discretion, attentiveness, and a refined, guest‑centric presence that makes every guest feel valued and at home.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm, personalized welcome.
• Escort guests to their rooms and provide a detailed orientation of room features and hotel services.
• Assist with unpacking and packing of luggage upon arrival and departure.
• Arrange in-room amenities, welcome gifts, and special requests.
• Handle guest laundry, pressing, and shoe-shine services as per request.
• Coordinate dining reservations, transportation, and activity bookings.
• Anticipate and fulfill guest needs proactively, ensuring a seamless stay.
• Maintain daily communication with guests to check preferences and satisfaction.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure prompt and efficient service delivery.
• Prepare rooms for special occasions (birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoon, etc.).
• Maintain an accurate record of guest preferences for future stays.
• Ensure discretion and confidentiality in all guest interactions.
• All colleagues must assess situations and react accordingly through analysis and perspective.
• All colleagues must be flexible and able to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the scope of their job, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required, to meet business demands and guest service needs.
• All colleagues should be visible and available to both guests and colleagues, in accordance with their position, and serve as an example for others.
• All colleagues are required to comply with any reasonable request from their supervisor(s) within a reasonable timeframe, under normal circumstances.
• Confidentiality

• All Colleagues must ensure Hotel, Customer and Staff information or transactions are kept confidential during or after employment with the company.
