Job summary

Raffles The Palm Dubai is seeking a Bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service at our luxury resort. You will report to the F&B Supervisor and create memorable experiences with precision, hospitality, and expert beverage knowledge.

Responsibilities include preparing and serving cocktails, maintaining bar standards, managing stock, and engaging guests to tailor service. The role requires professionalism, English fluency, and a proactive team mindset in a world-class setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years food and beverage experience with detailed bar knowledge.
• Previous public contact and/or cashiering experience.
• Secondary school education completed.
• Fluent English: reading, writing and speaking.
• Team player with a creative and outgoing personality.
• Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Solid knowledge of beverages, liquor, wines, and cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Read daily events to identify VIP arrivals.
• Maintain complete knowledge of bar items and prep.
• Serve beverages and take orders with accuracy.
• Ensure service standards and SOP adherence.
• Manage stock levels and bar setup/closing duties.
• Greet regular guests and note preferences.
• Handle billing quickly and accurately.
• Prevent over-consumption by guests.
