Job summary

Sofitel Dubai The Palm is seeking a Room Service Attendant to join our luxury beachfront resort. You will take food and beverage orders from guests by phone or in person and deliver meals to guest rooms with accuracy and presentation.

Maintain knowledge of the menu, handle payments, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery. Restock room service items, keep areas clean, and uphold safety and high service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service; room service preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from guests via phone or in person.
• Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly with accuracy.
• Set up and clear dining areas in guest rooms and maintain cleanliness.
• Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, specials, and dietary needs.
• Process guest payments and handle transactions.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure proper setup of trays, carts, and room service equipment.
• Restock and replenish room service items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the room service area.
