Job summary

Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi is seeking a Reservations Agent to join the Reservations team within the Revenue Department. You will handle bookings, ensure rate availability, and uphold service standards in a luxury hotel environment.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent, at least one year in a luxury hotel role, and strong English/Arabic communication skills. This on-site role offers opportunities for growth and up-selling within the team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
• Minimum one year working experience in the luxury hotel industry in the same role.
• Guest focused with a service mindset.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication in both English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Review daily reservation accuracy, rate compliance from segment and source, system close-out when necessary and rate availability
• Ensure clients’ satisfaction and adherence to Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental service standards
• Follow internal credit policy
• Follow up on lost business and bring information about them to the knowledge of the department superiors
• Spot-check reservations made the previous day and check all VIP arrivals
• Test calls LQA / IFH results > 85%
• Follow the internal up-sell program for Reservations department
