Job summary

Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi is seeking a Front Desk Agent to join our Front Office team. The role focuses on warm guest reception, efficient check-in/check-out, and ensuring a premium guest experience in a luxury setting.

Responsibilities include guest registration, room assignment, handling payments, and coordinating with housekeeping for room status. The ideal candidate has experience in luxury hotels, strong communication skills, and immaculate grooming standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Immaculate grooming standards with a professional appearance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on guest interaction

Responsibilities

• Check-in and check-out guests in a friendly, caring manner according to hotel standards
• Register guests, assign rooms and assist with registration cards
• Accommodate special requests and use suggestive selling to promote rooms and services
• Verify payment methods and follow credit procedures
• Balance cash at end of shift and handle front office cashier activities
• Assist guests with requests, provide information, and coordinate with housekeeping for late/early check-ins and special requests
• Coordinate room status updates with housekeeping and understand reservation procedures
