Job summary

Apparel Group in Dubai is seeking a Logistics Support specialist to assist the internal brand team with inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely customs clearance and delivery to warehouse and stores.

You will coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and finance to maintain accurate records and smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Establishing contact with the Supplier/ Agent for cargo pick up post aligning with the Brand team.
• Coordinate with freight forwarder to arrange import/re-export and follow up till goods delivery at the warehouse/stores.
• Invite freight quotes from various service providers and prepare comparisons for ADHOC shipments.
• Maintain a detailed Logistics tracker with all the information.
• Validate all customs BOE and freight invoices and hand over to finance for payment to avoid shipment delays.
• Process BOE for all inbound and outbound shipments.
• Arrange COO, SASO certification to apply by service provider.
• Arrange for Customs Inspection & ADM booking.
• Collect DO and other original documents from various Shipping & Air lines

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The position is responsible to provide support to the internal brand team for all their inbound and outbound shipments and also to ensure that the shipments are customs cleared and delivered on time to the warehouse and the stores.
