Job summary

Manpower Middle East is seeking a Logistics Executive on a 6-month contract to manage end-to-end logistics, customs clearance, and transportation coordination across the Middle East.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in business or related field with 1–3 years logistics experience, strong knowledge of customs procedures, and ERP systems such as SAP or JDE, plus solid stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, industrial engineering, supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant logistics or supply chain experience.
• Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures, international transportation modes, shipping documentation, and import/export operations.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or JDE.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end shipment activities including transportation planning, customs clearance, documentation, and delivery coordination.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely shipment execution and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare shipping documentation, process customer invoices, and support LC documentation and banking submissions.
• Monitor logistics performance metrics including shipment lead times, invoice accuracy, claims resolution, and on-time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with trade and finance regulations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing end-to-end logistics operations, customs clearance activities, shipping documentation, and transportation coordination across the Middle East region. This role requires strong expertise in logistics operations, customs compliance, and stakeholder management to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

About the Requirements

• Manage end-to-end shipment activities including transportation planning, customs clearance, documentation, and delivery coordination.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely shipment execution and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare accurate shipping documentation, process customer invoices, and support Letter of Credit (LC) documentation and banking submissions.
• Monitor logistics performance metrics including shipment lead times, invoice accuracy, claims resolution, and on-time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identify root causes of shipment delays, and ensure compliance with corporate trade and finance regulations.

About You

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field with 1–3 years of relevant logistics or supply chain experience.
• Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures, international transportation modes (Air, Sea, Road), shipping documentation, and import/export operations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, JDE, or similar platforms.
