Qualifications

Job Description

• Knowledge of logistics and EXIM shipment handling.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs house agents, and transporters.
• Strategic cost management, including direct and indirect cost analysis and control.
• Generate and implement cost‑saving ideas for raw materials and in‑process items.
• Facilitate localisation and V.A.V.E. process for imports.
• Manage import/export shipments and understand international freight and FTA trade agreements.
• Lead domestic logistics management reporting.
• Inventory management, including non‑slow‑moving items.
• Manage manpower cost, power cost, jigs, fixtures, and related expenses.
• Evaluate contracts such as AMC, non‑standard purchase, IT infrastructure, extraordinary expenses, and freight optimisation and reduction.
• Initial quotation analysis of new components.
• Good communication skills and proficiency with MS Office.
