Logistics Coordinator Road Operations

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day Transport Operations in terms of scheduling routing and driver activity management so as to ensure that resources are utilized in the most efficient and optimal manner.
• Preparing the scheduling and routing of assets to ensure accuracy and timeliness thereby ensuring contractual obligations (customer and departmental SLAs) are met.
• Preparing KPIs and reports accurately within process timeframes.
• Ensuring compliance to all operational procedures policies and practices.
• Notifying Supervisor in the event of an emergency; a serious situation; or unusual events which has an impact or may have a potential impact on transportation operations.
• Proactively identify potential problems and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintaining a positive attitude that promotes teamwork shared goal and values.
• Maintaining professional partnering relationships with inter-department teams across all parts of the operation.
• Performing any other related duties / projects assigned by the direct supervisor from time to time to meet the business exigencies.
