Job summary

ALEC Engineering and Contracting L.L.C. in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support site logistics planning and material movement across luxury fit-out projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent qualification.
• 5-7 years of experience in construction logistics, site engineering, or related field.
• Experience in high-end, luxury, and ultra-luxury fit-out projects.
• LEEA / Appointed Person certification is an advantage.

About Your Team

You will coordinate logistics activities on a given project and work closely with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal construction teams to support effective site logistics operations and ensure project requirements are consistently achieved.

You will provide coordination and support to Logistics Engineers, Foremen, and logistics personnel, ensuring logistics activities are effectively planned and executed across the site.

Your Role

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the implementation of site logistics plans aligned with project requirements
• Coordinating material movement, access, transport systems, plant, and site setup
• Coordinating logistics activities with construction, planning, commercial, HSE, and subcontractor teams
• Monitoring plant utilization, deliveries, servicing, and site logistics activities
• Ensuring logistics activities comply with safety, environmental, and project requirements
• Maintaining logistics documentation and supporting inspections and audits
• Assisting with logistics reporting, tracking, and cost control
• Supporting efficient logistics solutions across high-end fit-out projects

What We're Looking For

Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience in construction logistics, site engineering, or a related field
• Mandatory experience in high-end, luxury, and ultra-luxury fit-out projects
• Experience in logistics operations on construction and fit-out projects
• Experience coordinating with multiple disciplines, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent qualification
• LEEA / Appointed Person certification is an advantage

Knowledge & Skills:

• Good understanding of site logistics planning, material movement, plant operations, and transportation systems
• Understanding of safety, environmental, LEED, and Estidama requirements
• Good planning, analytical, communication, and coordination skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and logistics planning software
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
