Job summary

ALEC Engineering and Contracting L.L.C. is seeking a Senior QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance across landmark fit-out and construction projects in the region.

You will supervise the QA/QC department, ensure adherence to specifications, and drive continuous improvement with subcontractors and internal teams. The ideal candidate has 10–12+ years in construction/fit-out, strong QA/QC leadership, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Qualifications

• QA/QC accreditation by a recognized body.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, inspections, testing, and quality standards.
• Experience with construction and high-end fit-out quality requirements.
• Proven leadership, communication, and coordination skills.

About Your Team

You will lead the QA/QC Department on a given project and work closely with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal construction teams to implement the company QA/QC policy, monitor compliance, manage inspections and testing, and drive continuous improvement.

You will provide leadership, guidance, and support to QA/QC Engineers and quality personnel, ensuring qualified resources are allocated across site activities and that project quality requirements are consistently achieved.

Your Role

As a Senior QA/QC Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the project QA/QC team and quality management system
• Ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and QA/QC procedures
• Overseeing inspections, testing, materials, and subcontractor quality
• Managing NCRs, corrective actions, snagging, and close-out
• Preparing QA/QC reports and monitoring quality performance
• Leading audits, QA/QC meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Providing guidance and training to QA/QC and construction teams

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

• Minimum 10-12 years of experience as an Engineer within a construction/fitout environment, including significant experience in a senior QA/QC position
• Mandatory experience in high-end fit-out projects
• Proven experience managing QA/QC activities on major construction and fit-out projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification

Knowledge & Skills:

• QA/QC accreditation with a recognized professional body
• Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, inspections, testing, and quality standards
• Strong knowledge of construction and high-end fit-out quality requirements
• Proficiency in financial skills, data analysis, and reporting
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
