Role Context

The Hostess - Restaurant Guest Relations will be the first point of contact for guests entering Atlantis The Royal dining venues. The role supports the Food and Beverage Division by welcoming guests, managing reservation details, organizing seating plans, monitoring guest flow, and coordinating closely with service teams during busy operations. By combining warmth, organization, presentation, and clear communication, the Hostess helps shape the guest's first impression and contributes to smooth service delivery across the resort's premium dining environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth, confidence, and professional hospitality at the entrance of the assigned restaurant or dining venue.
• Manage reservations, guest arrival records, seating plans, waitlists, table allocations, and booking updates accurately.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to support smooth guest flow, balanced service sections, and efficient restaurant operations.
• Communicate guest preferences, VIP notes, special occasions, dietary details, and seating requirements to the service team.
• Escort guests to tables and ensure the arrival experience feels polished, organized, and memorable.
• Support fine dining restaurants, buffet operations, casual dining venues, lounges, family-friendly outlets, pool restaurants, and beach dining areas as assigned.
• Monitor busy service periods and help manage waiting guests with patience, clarity, and professionalism.
• Answer guest questions about dining concepts, opening times, menus, reservations, dress codes, and resort restaurant information.
• Work closely with waiters, captains, supervisors, outlet managers, reservation teams, and kitchen colleagues to maintain service flow.
• Handle basic guest concerns politely and elevate complex issues to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation, grooming, posture, and communication throughout each shift.
• Keep the host desk, menus, reservation materials, guest lists, and reception area clean, organized, and ready for service.
• Follow restaurant procedures, guest privacy standards, service etiquette, and luxury hospitality guidelines at all times.

Ideal Profile

• 1-2 years of experience as a Hostess, Restaurant Receptionist, Guest Relations Agent, or similar role in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent personal presentation with a polished, professional, and welcoming manner.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage reservations, seating flow, guest arrivals, and busy service periods.
• Experience in fine dining, buffet operations, casual dining, lounges, family venues, pool restaurants, or beach dining outlets is an advantage.
• Ability to remain calm, warm, and professional during high-volume restaurant operations.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with service teams and management.
• Guest-focused personality with attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Good English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
• Flexible approach to shifts, weekends, holidays, and peak dining periods as required.
