Job summary

Job Description

The Lobby Ambassador is responsible for creating a warm and memorable first impression by welcoming guests, assisting with arrivals and departures, and providing personalized support throughout their stay. The role ensures smooth lobby operations, assists with guest flow and special arrangements, and works closely with Guest Relations, Bell, and other departments to deliver seamless service in line with Rixos Hotels standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist arriving and departing guests, including VIP guests.
• Coordinate with Bell and Guest Relations teams to ensure personalized arrivals and smooth guest movement.
• Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, activities, services, and directions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby environment.
• Manage lobby traffic and assist with reception queuing during peak periods.
• Support luggage delivery and buggy services in coordination with the Bell team.
• Handle guest comments, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Complete pre-arrival follow-ups and support special guest arrangements.
• Promote hotel facilities, in-house services, and upselling opportunities.
• Follow all hotel, safety, and operational standards and procedures.
• Contribute to guest satisfaction and continuously look for opportunities to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Lobby Ambassador, Guest Relations, Front Office, or similar guest-facing role, preferably within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm and professional approach.
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to anticipate and respond to guest needs.
• Professional grooming and confident presence in a luxury hospitality environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
