Job summary

Client of AW Connect is seeking a senior residential leasing leader in the UAE to drive occupancy and portfolio performance. The role involves guiding a leasing team, analyzing market conditions and portfolio data, and supporting rental and renewal decisions.

The successful candidate will work closely with property management, facilities, finance and other stakeholders to ensure commercially sound leasing outcomes and strong tenant retention across a substantial residential portfolio.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years UAE real estate experience, mainly residential leasing.
• Experience at Leasing Manager or Assistant Leasing Manager level or similar.
• Track record managing a sizeable residential portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead the residential leasing function to maintain occupancy and maximise portfolio performance.
• Guide the leasing team and review portfolio performance and market conditions.
• Contribute to rental and renewal decisions and identify occupancy/retention improvements.
• Collaborate with property management, facilities, finance and other stakeholders to ensure sound leasing decisions.
• Analyse vacancies, renewals, market movements and rental performance with regular senior-management reporting.

We are looking for someone who has progressed beyond transactional leasing and can take responsibility for the performance of a substantial residential portfolio The position combines team leadership commercial decision-making and hands-on knowledge of the Dubai leasing market

The Role

The successful candidate will lead the residential leasing function with a focus on maintaining strong occupancy levels and maximising the performance of the portfolio You will guide the leasing team review portfolio performance and market conditions contribute to rental and renewal decisions and identify opportunities to improve occupancy and tenant retention You will also work closely with property management facilities finance and other internal stakeholders to ensure leasing decisions are commercially and operationally sound The role will involve regular analysis of vacancies upcoming renewals market movement and rental performance with clear reporting and recommendations to senior management There may also be exposure to other property classes within the wider portfolio

What We're Looking For

• Around 6 10 years' UAE real estate experience, predominantly within residential leasing
• Experience at Leasing Manager, Assistant Leasing Manager or a strong senior leasing level
• Track record managing a sizeable residential portfolio
• Previous responsibility for a leasing team
• Strong understanding of Dubai rental values and market dynamics
• Able to demonstrate measurable improvements in occupancy, rental performance or portfolio revenue
• Confident working with senior management and cross-functional teams
• Good knowledge of Dubai leasing regulations and processes
• RERA/DLD credentials are advantageous
• Commercial or industrial property exposure would be beneficial but isn't essential
