Role Context
The Learning Specialist will support the delivery and administration of training programs across Amazon Last Mile operations. Working closely with the Country Learning and Development Manager, Operations Managers, Area Managers, Delivery Service Provider teams, dispatchers, drivers, production teams, and sort associates, the role helps ensure employees and partners receive accurate, timely, and operationally relevant training. The position combines classroom facilitation, training administration, performance analysis, content development, and reporting. By maintaining strong training standards and identifying development gaps, the Learning Specialist will contribute directly to safer operations, better quality, improved productivity, and consistent process execution across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate operational training programs for site employees and delivery partners.
- Deliver classroom or group training sessions for audiences of up to 50 participants.
- Maintain accurate training schedules, attendance records, completion data, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure mandatory operational and compliance training remains current across assigned sites.
- Track learner performance through learning curves, quality results, and operational performance indicators.
- Identify individuals or groups requiring additional development support.
- Implement targeted performance improvement initiatives when training gaps affect operational results.
- Monitor adherence to established training programs and standard work expectations.
- Escalate training compliance concerns and follow through on corrective actions.
- Support implementation of new tactical and strategic learning projects.
- Develop clear training documents, job aids, presentations, and instructional materials.
- Use Articulate 360 to create interactive digital learning content.
- Apply Photoshop and video editing tools when visual or multimedia training materials are required.
- Review existing training content and update materials when processes or standards change.
- Partner with program managers and leadership teams to understand upcoming operational changes.
- Translate process changes into practical training requirements for frontline teams.
- Support site adoption of new procedures through structured communication and training.
- Verify whether training interventions are improving learner and operational performance.
- Create internal dashboards to track training progress, completion, and key performance indicators.
- Prepare daily and weekly learning reports for site and regional leadership.
- Present training progress, risks, and performance trends during leadership calls.
- Maintain accurate and current learning documentation.
- Coordinate with Operations Managers and Area Managers to schedule training around business requirements.
- Work with Delivery Service Provider Managers, dispatchers, and drivers on delivery-related learning needs.
- Support sort associates and operational teams with refresher or corrective training where required.
- Manage several learning projects while balancing priorities and deadlines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of training methods, materials, and reporting processes.
- Support flexible operational schedules when training requirements include nights, weekends, or holidays.

- Fluent ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Previous experience as a trainer or learning facilitator is highly valuable.
- Ability to manage classroom groups and maintain learner engagement.
- Experience developing or delivering training across multiple sites or regions is advantageous.
