Job summary

Amazon UAE is looking for a Learning Specialist to coordinate training activities for the site. You will facilitate training sessions, manage documentation, and ensure compliance training is current and accurate.

You will collaborate with L&D and Operations teams, develop training materials using Articulate 360 and Photoshop, and report progress through dashboards and KPIs in leadership calls.

Qualifications

• Speak, write, and read fluently in English.
• Experience managing multiple training projects across sites or regions.
• Experience as a trainer and ability to manage a classroom of learners.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate all training related programs (up to 50 members per session).
• Track performance including learning curve and quality; implement performance improvements.
• Monitor adherence to training programs and drive process changes for site adoption.
• Create training documents; design content using Articulate 360, Photoshop, and video editing.
• Create internal dashboards and report training progress and KPIs.

The AMZL Trans Learning Specialist works with their Country L&D manager, Operations Managers, Area Managers, Production Assistants, Delivery Service Provider (DSP) Managers, Dispatchers, Drivers and Sort Associates to coordinate all training related activities for the site. The individual in this position will provide ground level training facilitation and administrative management. The Learning Associate will play an integral role in ensuring all operations compliance training for the sites is maintained, as well as ensuring all training documentation and daily expectations are accurate, completed, and up to date. The Learning Specialist is assigned to the Learning Department and will manage specific responsibilities to that department

Key job responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate all training related programs (up to but not limited to 50 members in a session)
• Track performance including learning curve and quality and implement appropriate performance improvement initiatives to support improved performance
• Monitor adherence to all established training programs to ensure standard work is achieved and implement new tactical and strategic projects
• Create training documents; utilize various software such as Articulate 360, Photoshop, video editing to design effective training content
• Execute plans to close gaps in the developmental needs for individuals and groups
• Partner with program managers and leadership teams to update training documents, implement process change and ensure site adoption of process changes
• Create internal dashboards and use them to report training progress and KPIs in daily and weekly leadership calls.

• Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time
• Experience as a trainer and ability to manage a classroom of learners, or experience developing or delivering training programs across multiple sites or regions
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
