Job summary

GE Vernova in Dubai is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead technical project management for the GT scope. You will act as the technical liaison with customers and EPCs to ensure design documentation and equipment meet contract requirements.

You will drive technical decisions, coordinate engineering activities, manage interfaces across engineering, procurement and construction, and support financial outcomes for GE and clients. Travel is expected less than 10%.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from an accredited college or university.
• Significant experience in Engineering, Design Engineering, Field Engineering and/or Project Management in a related field.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power Point.

Responsibilities

• Provide single point contact for all customer technical inquiries.
• Drive lessons learned back into design engineering to avoid repeating issues.
• Provide technical guidance to Project Management and Applications Engineering.
• Conduct CKOMs and/or Design Liaison Meetings with customers and design representatives.
• Review contract documentation and communicate project requirements to all design functions.
• Evaluate financial/schedule impact of customer requested scope changes via CCEs.
• Monitor progress of design activities and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor engineering schedules and prevent delays or late deliverables.
• Provide technical support to engineering, manufacturing, sourcing and installation personnel.
• Present project review slides to upper management highlighting risks and action plans.
