Job summary

GE Vernova in Dubai is seeking a Lead Product Service Engineer - Turbine Controls & Operability to provide direct technical support to global gas power customers across three primary workstreams. You will own complex controls issues, drive RCAs, and collaborate across engineering, product management, and regional centers to deliver timely resolutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
Minimum 5 years of direct experience in controls/operations/engineering/installation of Gas Turbines/Steam Turbines or relevant functions.
Proven experience in a customer-facing or Engineering role.
Strong oral and written communication in English language.
This role requires around 10-15% travel within and outside of the region

Responsibilities

Own the technical resolution to multiple complex Controls system issues including Gas turbine and Steam Controls & Operability with a sense of urgency.
Identify trending issues and provide countermeasures to protect our customers' fleet, then communicate to the relevant audience.
Collaborate with Design Engineering, Product Management, Regional Customer Engineering Centers, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Vendors, and/or Customers to provide sound technical resolution in a timely manner
Drive complex RCAs through root cause and corrective action while communicating both internally and externally to end customers
Lead and promote the GE Vernova Way traits, lean principles, and simplification into day-to-day activities
