Job summary

Morona in Dubai is seeking a senior platform architect to own the end-to-end architecture of our fintech platform, spanning payments, Open Banking, identity, data, AI, and mobile apps. You will shape service boundaries, APIs, and integration standards to ensure a secure, scalable system.

You will review code, drive architectural decisions, and mentor teams while navigating regulatory constraints and resilience requirements. Remote-friendly role with a Dubai office option.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering
• 5+ years architecting distributed platforms in financial services
• End-to-end architecture of a production financial platform spanning several domains
• Deep event-driven and distributed-systems design
• Security, resilience and regulatory constraints designed in
• Hands-on: reviews code and prototypes
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end platform architecture across every domain
• Define service boundaries, APIs, event contracts and integration standards
• Design the safety boundaries between AI, consent, payment authority and execution
• Run architecture decision records and reference architectures
• Resolve cross-team architectural blockers quickly
