Job summary

AECOM in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead mixed-use development projects from planning through to delivery. You will oversee multi-phase initiatives spanning residential, commercial, retail and hospitality components, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery while balancing stakeholder expectations.

The role requires 12+ years in large-scale projects, strong budgeting and risk management capabilities, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in project management for mixed-use or large-scale construction
• Proven budget control, cost forecasting, and financial oversight
• Strong communication with clients, architects, contractors, and government agencies

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of mixed-use development from planning through completion
• Develop and monitor plans, schedules, and budgets; implement corrective actions
• Manage budgets, procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans
• Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, consultants, and regulators
• Oversee site operations and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards
• Lead and mentor cross-disciplinary teams
• Present status reports, forecasts, and KPIs to senior management
• Maintain project documentation and change control
• Promote sustainable/green building practices where applicable
