Project Leadership Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of mixed-use project development from planning through completion, maintaining focus on programme, budget, and quality requirements.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets and monitor performance throughout delivery.
• Implement appropriate corrective actions when progress, cost, or other project indicators deviate from established plans.
• Manage project budgets, cost controls, procurement activities, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
• Identify and assess project risks and establish mitigation and contingency measures for potential delivery challenges.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, consultants, government agencies, and other project stakeholders.
• Oversee site operations and monitor compliance with applicable building codes, safety requirements, and environmental standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and promote effective coordination and accountability across project functions.
• Prepare and present project status reports, financial forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
• Manage project documentation, change orders, and accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the application of sustainable building practices and relevant green building standards where applicable.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 12 years of project management experience in mixed‑use development or large‑scale construction projects.
• Proven experience in budget management, cost control, and financial forecasting.
• Strong proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent tools.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and established industry practices.
• Advanced contract negotiation and risk management capabilities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience delivering projects in the UAE or wider GCC region is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi regulations, building standards, and government approval processes.
• Project Management Professional certification or an equivalent credential is preferred.
• Knowledge of sustainable and green building practices is an advantage.

Mixed-Use Development Scope

The Senior Project Manager will coordinate projects integrating residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality components, requiring close management of multiple technical disciplines and stakeholder interfaces. The position spans project planning, scheduling, financial control, procurement, contracts, risk management, construction oversight, reporting, change management, and final delivery. The role requires the ability to maintain a clear view of project performance while coordinating detailed activities across consultants, contractors, clients, government agencies, and internal project teams.
