Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Document Control Manager to lead the document control function for major EPC projects, ensuring compliant handling, tracking, distribution, and archiving of all project docs.

You will manage EDMS such as Aconex, SharePoint, and Documentum, oversee a team, coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, and clients, and deliver timely, audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Information Management, or Business Administration.
• 10–18 years in document control on EPC projects.
• Minimum 5–8 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in large Oil & Gas / Offshore projects in the Middle East.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement document control procedures, workflows, and systems.
• Manage end-to-end document lifecycle including receipt, review, approval, distribution, and archiving.
• Administer EDMS systems (Aconex, SharePoint, Documentum) and configure workflows.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC and subcontractors for timely submissions and approvals.
• Interface with client and third parties for document exchanges and approvals.
• Lead and manage the document control team (Controllers, Coordinators).
• Archive and handover documents to client with completeness and compliance.
