Job summary

7 Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee and repair kitchen and bar equipment across our hospitality properties. You will ensure safety, reliability, and adherence to operational standards while supporting culinary and operations teams.

You will lead preventive maintenance, coordinate with suppliers, and maintain detailed records. A Diploma/Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration Engineering and 5+ years of experience are required to drive

Qualifications

Diploma/Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration Engineering is required.
5+ years’ experience maintaining and repairing commercial kitchen/bar equipment.
Skilled in troubleshooting, installation, and preventive maintenance for hot & cold lines.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities with decision-making skills.
Proven leadership in guiding and training junior technicians.

Responsibilities

Maintenance and Repair: troubleshoot and repair kitchen and bar equipment; perform inspections and tests after repairs; lead preventive maintenance per schedule.
Operational Support: collaborate with culinary and operations teams to address issues quickly; coordinate with suppliers/contractors for services or parts.
Leadership and Guidance: mentor junior technicians and oversee work to meet quality and safety standards.
Documentation and Reporting: maintain maintenance logs, service records, and repair histories; assist with lists of equipment and spare parts; report issues to Maintenance Manager.
