Job summary

Worley is seeking an experienced Discipline Lead to coordinate multi-discipline engineering delivery for critical infrastructure projects in the UAE, aligning with Worley procedures and customer objectives. You will act as the technical interface between the Project Manager, Engineering Manager and discipline teams, ensuring plans, deliverables, schedules and forecasts are accurate and delivered safely.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience, with professional registration or eligibility preferred.
• Typically 12+ years’ engineering experience, including 10+ years in project engineering, supervision, project management or technical coordination.
• Experience delivering E, EP, EPCM or EPC scopes across critical infrastructure, utilities, transport, water, power, ports, industrial, sustaining capital or brownfield projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate multi-discipline, multi-location teams; review technical work; resolve interfaces; and support scope, change, risk, cost and schedule control.

Responsibilities

• Define and coordinate the engineering team, set clear delivery objectives, assign work through discipline leads, provide technical guidance, monitor performance and close gaps affecting safety, quality, cost, schedule or productivity.
• Lead day-to-day engineering coordination across utilities, water, power, transport, ports, marine, industrial infrastructure, resilience upgrades and brownfield modifications.
• Support proposals for small to medium infrastructure opportunities by developing execution strategies, discipline scopes, schedules, resource plans, deliverables, risks, assumptions and technical differentiators aligned with customer drivers.
• Drive technically robust infrastructure solutions across studies, design development, detailed engineering and delivery support.
• Coordinate project plans, contractual arrangements, schedules, milestones, deliverable registers and progress inputs.
