Wood is seeking an experienced Lead HSE in Abu Dhabi to ensure workplace safety, environmental compliance, and employee wellbeing for a high-profile client. You will develop policies, conduct risk assessments, and oversee company-wide safety initiatives across projects in the energy sector.

Key objectives include identifying hazards, ensuring regulatory compliance, delivering training, analyzing incidents, and promoting sustainable practices within the organization.

Qualifications

• Must have proven track record in leading HSE programs
• Experience developing and implementing safety policies
• Strong ability to conduct risk assessments and trainings
• Familiarity with local UAE HSE regulations and international standards

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure adherence to local, national, and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on safety protocols and best practices.
• Analyze workplace accidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Develop and implement strategies to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability.
• Establish and maintain emergency response plans to handle workplace incidents effectively.
