Job summary

Worley in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced HSSE Lead to guide safety for major energy and petrochemical projects. You will ensure HSSEQ objectives are met, oversee HSEIA reports, and collaborate with EPC contractors to embed a strong safety culture on site.

You will mentor PMC teams, review PEPs for HSSE requirements, and maintain records while promoting continuous improvement and compliance with local and international standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, health, environmental, technical, scientific, or related engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Ensures HSSEQ goals, objectives and targets are met through personal leadership and involvement.
• Provides overall guidance from a HSSE perspective to the Project to ensure that the Project HSSE Management System is established and implemented into the overall Project execution strategy.
• Close monitoring of EPC Contractor to ensure that Project HSSE objectives are met.
• Provides leadership to the PMC HSSE resources, EPC Contractor and their respective teams.
• Witnessing HSSE Audits conducted by the EPC Contractor.
• Ensure EPC Contractor’s HSSE personnel are appropriately qualified.
• Provide support to PMC Management with investigation of any HSSE concerns and communicate the findings accordingly.
