Wood is seeking an experienced Lead HSE professional in Abu Dhabi, UAE, to drive safety and environmental compliance across projects for a high-profile client. The role focuses on developing policies, conducting risk assessments, and leading safety initiatives with a global energy sector perspective.

You will oversee workplace health, safety and environmental standards, deliver training, and ensure alignment with local and international regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure adherence to local, national, and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on safety protocols and best practices.
• Analyze workplace accidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Develop and implement strategies to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability.
• Establish and maintain emergency response plans to handle workplace incidents effectively.
• Monitor and enhance HSE policies and procedures to align with industry standards and best practices.
