Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company is seeking a skilled Project HSE Lead to supervise safety activities across the full project lifecycle, from assessment to execution. You will ensure ADNOC HSE standards are met and foster continuous improvement with contractors and project teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 8+ years of oil & gas project experience, with strong leadership and risk management capabilities to drive safe, compliant project delivery in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in project engineering in oil and gas.
• Strong leadership and ability to influence multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Effective integration of HSE requirements across the full project lifecycle (ASSESS to EXECUTE).
• Proactive risk identification, assessment, and mitigation aligned with ADNOC standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HSE activities for projects and engineering modifications across all lifecycle phases.
• Establish, implement, and monitor project-specific HSE Plans.
• Monitor HSE performance through reports, audits, and reviews.
• Lead HSE audits and ensure timely closure of findings and corrective actions.
• Oversee contractor HSE performance within project scope.
• Lead HSE incident investigations and implement remedial measures.
• Ensure ADNOC HSE specifications and project requirements are followed.
• Support leadership HSE site visits and drive awareness within project teams.
• Drive HSE communication and alignment across interfaces.
