Job summary

Rixos UAE is seeking an experienced AV Manager to oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of all AV equipment for events and meetings at our venues. You will lead and train the AV team, manage budgets and vendor contracts, and coordinate with planners to ensure flawless guest experiences.

The role requires 3–5 years in AV management, a related Bachelor's degree, and flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in AV management or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Audio-Visual Technology, Information Technology, or Event Management preferred.
• Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee setup, configuration, operation, and maintenance of AV equipment.
• Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during events.
• Supervise and train the AV team, providing guidance and support.
• Plan and coordinate AV setup for events and meetings.
• Manage AV inventory and budget; procure equipment and services.
• Negotiate contracts with AV service providers.
• Ensure safety and quality standards for AV operations.
