Job summary

Gardinia Contracting, the landscape specialist behind Azizi Developments, seeks an experienced Landscape Section Manager in the UAE. You will lead landscape teams across multiple projects, ensuring designs, specs and timelines are met with quality, safety, and efficiency on site.

Role requires deep knowledge of UAE plants, irrigation and hardscape materials, plus strong coordination with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Horticulture/LA/CE).
• 12+ years in landscape construction with 3–4 years in a managerial role.
• Experience delivering landscape packages on UAE real estate projects.
• Knowledge of UAE plant species, irrigation, and hardscape materials.
• Familiarity with UAE municipality landscape approvals.
• Read landscape drawings; proficient in AutoCAD and MS Project/Primavera.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.
• Strong leadership, coordination and vendor management.
• Excellent English communication; Arabic/Hindi/Urdu a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, BOQs and specs to ensure correct site execution.
• Coordinate with irrigation, MEP, civil and architectural teams.

• Maintain method statements, IR logs, submittals and progress reports.
• Support cost control by tracking budgets and reducing waste.
• Ensure HSE compliance across all landscape activities.

As a Landscape Section Manager, you will oversee the planning and execution of landscape construction activities across assigned real estate development projects in the UAE, ensuring all works are delivered in line with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. The role calls for strong technical expertise in soft and hard landscaping and irrigation systems, along with the ability to coordinate effectively across multi-disciplinary project teams in a fast-paced developer/contracting environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, supervise, and manage all landscape section works including soft‑scape (planting, turfing, tree transplantation) and hard‑scape (paving, hardscaping features, pergolas, water features)
• Review and interpret landscape architectural drawings, BOQs, and specifications to ensure accurate execution on site
• Coordinate with irrigation, MEP, civil, and architectural teams to ensure clash‑free and timely installation of landscape works
• Monitor subcontractor and vendor performance, ensuring works comply with quality, safety, and program requirements
• Prepare and track work programs, manpower plans, and material procurement schedules for landscape packages
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks against approved shop drawings and mock‑ups
• Manage plant sourcing, nursery coordination, and material approvals (soil, mulch, paving units, irrigation components)
• Liaise with consultants and client representatives during inspections, snagging, and handover processes
• Ensure compliance with UAE municipality and authority requirements related to landscaping and irrigation
• Maintain accurate documentation: method statements, inspection request (IR) logs, material submittals, and progress reports
• Support cost control by monitoring landscape budgets and minimizing wastage/rework
• Ensure HSE compliance across all landscape activities on site

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 12 years of experience in landscape construction, with at least 3–4 years in a managerial/section head capacity
• Proven experience delivering landscape packages on real estate/villa/community development projects in the UAE
• Strong knowledge of UAE plant species, irrigation systems (drip/sprinkler), and hardscape materials
• Familiarity with UAE municipality landscape approval processes
• Proficiency in reading landscape drawings, AutoCAD, and MS Project/Primavera
• Valid UAE driving license preferred
• Strong leadership, coordination, and vendor management skills
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is an advantage for on‑site team coordination
