Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a landscape-related field required.
• Minimum 12 years in landscape construction with 3–5 years in management.
• Experience in the UAE, Dubai/Abu Dhabi knowledge preferred.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation, hardscape, and plant palettes."

Responsibilities

As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of landscape construction projects including soft and hard landscaping, irrigation systems, and external works ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end execution of landscape construction projects, from site mobilization to handover
• Review and interpret landscape architectural drawings, BOQs, and specifications to plan site activities
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and client representatives on site
• Plan and monitor project schedules, manpower, equipment, and material resources
• Supervise hardscape works (paving, kerbing, retaining walls, water features) and softscape works (planting, turfing, irrigation)
• Ensure irrigation systems are installed, tested, and commissioned correctly
• Monitor budgets, track costs, and control variations/claims
• Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and local municipality/authority approvals (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, RTA where applicable)
• Conduct quality inspections and snagging/de-snagging prior to handover
• Prepare progress reports, site instructions, and documentation for management and clients
• Liaise with government authorities for inspections, NOCs, and approvals
• Manage subcontractor performance, payments, and contractual obligations
• Lead and mentor site engineers, foremen, and labor teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 12 years of experience in landscape construction, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role
• Proven experience delivering landscape projects in the UAE (Dubai/Abu Dhabi preferred), with strong familiarity with local authority approval processes
• Sound knowledge of UAE construction standards, irrigation systems, plant palettes suited to the regional climate, and hardscape materials
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors on live construction sites
• Proficiency in reading landscape drawings, BOQs, and using project management/scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera)
