Job Overview: Land Surveyor - Wet Utilities and Micro Tunneling in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a Civil Engineering opportunity focused on field surveying, setting-out verification, level control, geodetic calculations, and construction measurement for complex underground infrastructure projects. Parsons Corporation is hiring an experienced Land Surveyor to support wet utilities and micro tunneling works, verify control points and benchmarks, maintain accurate survey records, and ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, levels, alignments, and project specifications.
The Land Surveyor will provide field surveying support across infrastructure works involving wet utilities, underground services, and micro tunneling activities. The position requires accurate verification of coordinates, levels, alignments, control points, and setting-out information throughout construction. Working with engineers, contractors, and survey teams, the Land Surveyor will help ensure underground and surface works are positioned correctly before construction progresses. Reliable survey control is particularly important on micro tunneling and utility projects, where small alignment or level errors can create significant construction and interface problems. The role also supports measurement, as-built documentation, earthwork verification, and maintenance of complete field records for project control and final handover.
Candidates should hold a diploma or associate degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or an equivalent recognized qualification. A minimum of five years of construction and supervision experience on infrastructure projects is required. Candidates must have practical experience involving wet utilities and micro tunneling works. Strong field experience using Total Station, level, and theodolite equipment is required. Working knowledge of MicroStation and AutoCAD is important for reviewing drawings, survey information, and as-built documentation. Candidates should be able to interpret construction drawings, maps, specifications, survey records, coordinates, and setting-out information accurately. Recent UAE work experience is required, with particular preference for candidates currently available in the UAE and experienced on Dubai projects. Good written and spoken communication skills are essential for coordination with contractors, engineers, clients, and project supervision teams.
