Role Summary

Land Surveyor Infrastructure Microtunneling Dubai, UAE is responsible for performing precise survey operations, ensuring alignment accuracy, and supporting construction teams with reliable data for pipelines, shafts, and tunnel works in compliance with project specifications and authority standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform topographic, control, and setting‑out surveys for pipelines, shafts, tunnels, and civil structures


• Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and grid systems


• Apply approved drawings, alignment data, and coordinate systems for construction works


• Verify horizontal and vertical alignments, pipe levels, and tunnel drive accuracy


• Ensure all setting‑out activities follow approved methods and calibration standards


• Conduct as‑built surveys and verify contractor submissions before approval


• Monitor microtunneling alignment and breakthrough coordinates within allowable tolerances


• Maintain accurate survey records, field notes, and digital data files


• Coordinate with contractors and engineers to resolve survey discrepancies


• Verify survey outputs for progress measurements and payment certifications


• Participate in project meetings to provide updates on survey progress and site constraints


• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during field operations


• Calibrate and maintain survey equipment including total stations, GPS, and digital levels


• Support testing, commissioning, and final handover by verifying coordinates and levels

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field


• Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure surveying and setting‑out


• Experience in stormwater drainage, pipelines, shafts, and microtunneling works


• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GPS systems, and total station equipment


• Strong understanding of coordinate systems, datum control, and alignment verification


• Familiarity with RTA, DM, and DEWA standards and project procedures


• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams


• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
