Job summary

Simone's Tutoring seeks an IBCLC-certified lactation consultant to deliver private, home-based or visits to schools across Dubai.

You will assess breastfeeding needs, provide hands-on support for latch and milk supply, and develop feeding plans for diverse families in a flexible freelance role.

Qualifications

• IBCLC credential is mandatory for this role.
• DHA/DOH/MOHAP licences or eligibility to obtain them are required.
• Minimum 2 years IBCLC practice experience is expected.
• Knowledge of UAE cultural context for infant feeding is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive breastfeeding assessments for mothers and babies

Minimum Qualifications

• International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) credential (current)
• Valid DHA, DOH, or MOHAP licence (or eligibility to obtain)
• Minimum 2 years IBCLC practice
• Knowledge of UAE cultural context for infant feeding

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with premature neonates, NICU support, or medically complex infants
• Midwifery or nursing background

UAE Licensing & Professional Requirements

This role requires a valid UAE healthcare professional licence issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH), or Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP). Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant licence before providing services. Licensing requirements must comply with UAE regulations.
