Simone's Tutoring in Dubai seeks a Child Development Consultant to guide families on milestones, parenting strategies, and environmental enrichment. You will work with parents, caregivers, schools, and healthcare professionals, delivering consultations and workshops.

This is an independent contractor role with flexible, freelance scheduling. Sessions can be conducted online or at students' homes, schools, or other venues, with compensation as 65% commission on completed coaching sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of practice.
• Strong knowledge of developmental theory and research.
• Experience communicating complex developmental information to parents.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Child Development Consultant to provide expert guidance to parents, caregivers, and schools on children's developmental progress, age-appropriate expectations, and strategies to support healthy development. You will act as a trusted advisor to families navigating developmental milestones, parenting concerns, and early childhood challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct developmental consultations with parents and caregivers

Advise on typical and atypical developmental milestones from birth to adolescence

Provide guidance on parenting approaches, play, and environmental enrichment

Support families of children with developmental variations or early concerns

Liaise with paediatricians, SLTs, OTs, and educational psychologists as needed

Deliver parent workshops and group educational sessions

Write clear developmental guidance reports and recommendations

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Child Development, Psychology, or Early Childhood Education

Minimum 3 years child development practice or advisory experience

Strong knowledge of developmental theory and research

Experience communicating complex developmental information to parents

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a clinical, educational, or research child development setting

Workshop design and group facilitation experience

Knowledge of UAE educational landscape

UAE Licensing & Professional Requirements

Coaching and holistic wellbeing practice is not regulated by a single authority in the UAE; however, practitioners must hold recognised professional qualifications and relevant certifications from reputable bodies. For any clinical or quasi-clinical services, a DHA, DOH, or MOHAP licence may be required. All practitioners must comply with applicable UAE regulations and operate strictly within their professional scope of practice.

Dependent Visa with legal work eligibility

Any other valid UAE work authorisation
